10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse
by Don Zolidis

It's the end of the world and hordes of rampaging zombies are about to kill you. What do you do? Try your hand at kung fu against the undead? Attempt to reason with creatures that would rather eat brains than use them? Turn to this handy and hilarious guide to survive the apocalypse! After two weeks of learning about producing a play from the audition phase to opening/closing nights and then to strike, participants will complete this camp with true knowledge of what it's like to be a part of a full production from beginning to end. It will be a time to remember! This is a Production Camp with a weekend of shows following the camp.

Stagecraft 101

Stagecraft 101

What is it?

Stagecraft 101 is an educational initiative by the Guild designed to teach our volunteers and the community about the fundamentals of working behind the scenes. Many people are interested in helping out in the theater, but do not want to be on stage. They don’t realize that there are many other areas where they can help. A series of classes offered this summer about the art (and science) of working backstage, cover the following disciplines:

  • Fundamentals of Directing
  • Stage Management
  • Lighting Design
  • Sound Design
  • Light/Sound Board Operation
  • Set Design
  • Set Construction
  • Costuming & Makeup
